EMS

Electricity meter EMS is electronic three-phase meter, which measures active energy and is approved according to IEC 62052-11 and IEC 62053-21. EMS meter has LCD register for the display of active energy in one tariff. Meter registers active energy irrespectively of energy direction, i.e. the registration takes place on the same register at ±A. The pulse outputs for LED and electrical test output are active in both energy directions, too.

Features:

Measuring

Meter operates in three-phase electricity networks and independently from current flow direction measure:
  • Active energy with accuracy class 1.0 or 2.0 (IEC 62053-21)

Outputs

  • Electric pulse output (S0)
  • LED test output for active energy

Data storage

EMS meter has non-volatile memory, which allows to store metering data without influence of power outages.

Communications

Meter has optical communication interface in accordance with IEC 62056-21. Optical communication interface allows the user to read data from the meter in the field or in the workshop.

Display

EMS meter is equipped with LCD (Liquid crystal display). LCD contains 8 digits: 8-5 for whole numbers and 0-3 digits for decimal numbers. Decimal point can be programmed only in the factory. LCD displays:
  • Measuring energy value and dimension;
  • Meter malfunction;
  • Load and communication indication
